The End of Blindness Acquired by Passion River
LOS ANGELES (July 1, 2020) – A US release date of November 11th 2021 has been announced for indie documentary The End of Blindness.
Passion River will be handling the VOD, DVD and TV releases for the feature documentary from Section 3 Films.
In his award winning feature documentary debut, AJ Maritnson III chronicles the work of Dr. Samuel Bora, the only ophthalmologist for 3 million people in rural Ethiopia. Dedicating his life to serving the poor Dr. Samuel performs up to 60 cataract surgeries a day for those in need.
The film will be available on streaming platforms including iTunes, AppleTV and Amazon Prime.
To date the film has won multiple awards including:
