Synopsis:

Vance Vanderson is a bald, dead-beat corporate spy trapped in a dead-end job stealing marginal secrets from big corporations to sell on the black market. His sole mission in life is to get his hair-back so he can reclaim his ex-wife, get his life back on track, and live happily ever after.

One night, Vance discovers a biomed company has developed a new hair growth formula that’s more powerful than anything else on the market. Seizing his chance to live happily ever after, Vance decided to steal the formula for himself. But little does he know, the hair-growth formula isn’t what it seems, and the vengeful CEO of the biomed firm will stop at nothing to get it back.

Accolades:

Corporate Espionage was selected as one of only twenty scripts to pitch at the inaugural Dances With Films “Fever Pitch” competition in 2024.

Formats:

Corporate Espionage was written as a feature, condensed to a short for the pitch competition, and can be easily adapted into a two episode pilot for a TV series.

Genre & Tone:

Corporate Espionage is a fun, dark-comedy thriller similar to The Big Lebowski, Barry on HBO, and 2024’s Hitman.

Socially Relevant:

Corporate Espionage talks about something nobody else in Hollywood is talking about right now: negative male body image.

90% of men have body issues. Corporate Espionage is an action movie that tackles this in a fun, enlightened, non-preachy, non-pandering, easily relatable way that will appeal and resonate with men around the world.

Sponsored by texture company Poliigon, Section 3 Films produced a 12 video series for Youtube legend Blender Guru (Andrew Price).

In these long format interviews ranging from 4mins to 2rhs we filmed Andrew as he interviewed top digital artists working in Los Angeles and toured some incredible VFX post facilities.

Section 3 Films handled all post production, deliver over 14 hours of content for this series alone.

The video on the right is a small excerpt from our tour of Barnstorm VFX in Burbank, highlighting our ability to create fast-paced, on the fly Youtube walk-through content.

Walt: The Man Behind the Myth

Walt: The Man Behind the Myth is a Broadcast documentary which aired originally aired on ABC 2001. Section 3 Films was hired in 2016 to restore and remaster the original broadcast version (SD) to full HD using re-scanned film and high res assets. After completing the HD remaster, the film re-premiered on Netflix and remained there until 2019. There are rumors it may appear again on Disney Plus in the near future.
